Outcomes

Students will leave the course having successfully bought and sold items online with an understanding of how to make the most of the buying and selling oppurtunity and resolve problems.

The Course

This is a fun, hands-on, practical course in which students will learn how to buy items in eBay auctions and put things up for sale. We start off with buying and learn how to locate an item, place a bid, pay and finish off the transaction. Then we turn our attention to selling, which is slightly more involved. We will discuss what is suitable for selling on eBay, the method of taking and storing digital images, describing condition, entering the item in an auction and making the appropriate choices regarding sales enhancements. The emphasis is always on safe trading and the means of ensuring thats things go well. We also discuss costs involved and what to do when things go wrong.

Who is Eligible?

This course is step by step, hands-on for people who struggle with technology. The course is for everyone, but it is helpful if students are familiar with a keyboard and a mouse.

To regsiter to sell on eBay you need a credit or debit card. To buy and sell on eBay you need to be over 18 years old.
